Adaptive Artificial Intelligence
Your opponents get better as you advance to higher levels. They have no secret knowledge of the cards in the game. Instead, they’re based on the betting histories and behaviors of real human players! Be careful, they bet, fold, and bluff!

  1. 1)I’ve noticed a lot of online sites are under Federal investigation now. Is this game safe?
    Unlike online poker sites, this game does not rely on real money, and it does not pit you against other human players. The Federal investigations are surrounding fraud and online gambling, and All Hands On Deck does not deal in either. So yes, you can play our game without any fear of losing money to an unscrupulous third party, or having your money confiscated.

  2. 2)Can I still play this game when I’m not online? Sometimes I travel, and like to take my iPad with me.
    Absolutely! All Hands On Deck is completely self-contained. It does not at any point require an Internet connection to play.

  3. 3)Are you going to spam all of my Facebook friends with ads for this game?
    No way! Our customers and their privacy is a major concern to us. Unlike many online poker games, your Facebook wall will remain free of ads and spam from our game. But hey, if you want to tell your friends to ‘like’ us, we won’t stop you.

  4. 4)I love repetitive, annoying background music. Why don’t you have that in your game?
    Because we don’t love it! Most people just turn off the background music in games anyway. We have studio quality sound effects in the game, to draw you further into the experience of playing the game. But if you like background music, you can play music from your iPad’s music collection in the background while you play. We don’t know what kind of music you like, so we’re just going to leave that up to you.

  5. 5)This doesn’t look like every other poker game out there. Why not?
    Many poker games reuse the same poker game engines, and swap out the graphics. As a result, they all look and behave the same way. We built ours from the ground up in Unity3D, the most powerful 3D game engine we could find. No one has a poker game engine quite like ours.

  6. 6)The other players in the game are really good. Are you sure they’re not people?
    We designed our bots' behaviors based on real human behaviors during professional poker competitions. They have no idea what the next card will be, or what your cards are. Instead, they study you, and each other, and try to figure out what you might have based on your behaviors. Some of them are dumb, and some of them are very, very cunning. They 'get nervous' and 'get a little too bold' just like humans. But they don't have any actual knowledge of your cards, or even each others' cards.
